WHY ADOPT A SPECIAL NEEDS KID FROM CHINA?
The long answer includes the fact that there is no greater need a kid has than to have a mom and dad. And that China has orphanages full of little boys with special needs because of the one child rule and folks abandon kids with imperfections as minor as birth marks and as great as Down's Syndrome.
But the short, and probably more specific, answer is because China is where my kid is from. And yes, he happens to have some special needs. We don't yet know what they are, but we are praying that all of hearts will be prepared for what God has for us.

WOW!!!! You are awesome!! We are working toward a special needs adoption in China as well. She is a girl...we are just not sure WHICH little girl, yet!! We just adopted a child originally from the Congo. He had been placed with a family and then given up. So, now he is OUR little boy! He is 7. Hopefully, we will adopt this one more time!
